Our tours are designed to give you an overview of the city, but you may wish to revisit the place to find out about it in more detail later. Chandigarh Tourism offers a walking tour of the Capitol Complex which includes the High Court, The Secretariat and the Assembly Buildings. The 2 hour long tours are conducted multiple times a day.

10. HOW HOT/ COLD WILL IT GET?

In summers, we recommend starting at 7:00 am or before to steer clear of the heat as the temperature can rise quickly during the day (upto 45 degrees celsius!). As winter mornings can get cold in Chandigarh, we suggest to begin the tour after 8 am. Rainfall is most likely in the monsoon season (late July/August/early September). For cancellations done by CBC on the tour date itself due to weather conditions, we offer free re-booking on an alternative date, or a refund.

11. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

In summer, men and women can come in regular shorts or loose khakis and t-shirts. Do carry a rain coat if its raining or seems like it will. During winters sweaters or light sports jackets would be needed as departure time will be cold (should you opt for the recommended departure time). Don’t bring caps as wearing helmets during cycle rides is mandatory. Helmets also offer some protection from sun. You might want to apply sunscreen and get your sunglasses as we will be out in the sun for a few hours.
